In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Romania showcased varying trends in downloads and active user engagement.

X (Formerly Twitter) demonstrated a steady weekly revenue stream, peaking at approximately $2K in early June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at around 5.2K and gradually decreasing to 2.2K by the end of June. Meanwhile, active users saw a decline from 458K to 397K over the quarter.

Digi Sport-Știri&meciuri LIVE experienced a peak in downloads mid-April with 7.2K, followed by a decline, ending the quarter with 947 downloads. Active users initially increased, reaching a high of 80K in early May, but decreased to 55K by June's end.

Upday | Local & World News saw a significant rise in downloads, jumping from just 19 in early April to 3.9K by the end of June. This surge was mirrored in active users, which increased from 339 to nearly 4K.
